All former pupils of Mill Hill School are eligible for membership of the Old Millhillians Club.
The Club’s joint aims are to foster and promote the Old Millhillian community and to maintain an interest in the welfare of the Mill Hill School Foundation.
The Club Office supports and coordinates the organisation of Club events and communications. Members receive a monthly electronic newsletter and a bi-annual magazine, Martlet, advising of news and forthcoming events. The Club also maintains both Facebook and Twitter pages.
Old Millhillians benefit professionally, financially and socially from their membership.
We hold professional networking events for members of such professions as Accounting, Law, Property, Engineering, Financial Services, Media and Journalism, Medicine and Entrepreneurs. In May 2014 an event for current and aspiring entrepreneurs attracted nearly 100 attendees. This was followed in 2015 with an event for OMs interested in Tech start-ups.
The Club Office maintains a database of Old Millhillians who have volunteered to provide career support to current and former pupils.
The Club has a special relationship with the National Liberal Club which is worth several hundred pounds per annum. Old Millhillian Club members who can make full use of the excellent Central London facilities for meetings, meals or just a drink on one of the most attractive terraces in London. We hold our AGM and annual cocktail party here in June.
The Club supports a Rewards programme whereby members access discounts and offers at hundreds of online stores and brands, ranging from High Street shops to travel, attractions, cinema, health, utilities, motoring and gifts. By actively taking advantage of this programme a member can also save several hundred pounds per annum.
Members are entitled to use the gym and sports facilities at Mill Hill School and also to hire the school facilities for weddings and social functions at a privileged discounted rate.
Social networking events and school year reunions are held throughout the UK and overseas. The Club has active sports societies, including golf, rugby, hockey, cricket, fives and shooting.
Our motto is “Non nobis, sed scholae”. We maintain close relationships with the school and an ongoing interest in the welfare of the Mill Hill School Foundation. Old Millhillians regularly participate in career guidance and advice events held for pupils. Over the years Old Millhillians and the Old Millhillians Masonic Lodge have donated generously to the Foundation to help fund bursaries and facilities improvements. The Court of Governors of the Foundation always includes at least five Old Millhillians who are also Life Guardians of the Foundation.
